NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Bethesda Project is in desperate need of casseroles

Casseroles will be collected this Sunday July 20 between the hours of 8:15 through 11:30 am in Monihan Hall Kitchen. Enter from the rear door and place your casserole in the white freezer in the corner. If you have not made a casserole please stop by the kitchen and pick up a container and recipes or make your own favorite.

Casseroles are collected the 3rd Sunday of every month. If you make a casserole and don’t have room to store it in your freezer till the next pick up date, please contact me at the Rectory and you can drop it off here and I will get it to the cafeteria kitchen.

Thanks for all of your support and help.

Bicentennial “Season of Service”
Blessed are the Hearts that Serve:
Making a Difference in the Lives of Others.

Making a Difference in the Lives of Others.
Join us on Monday January 14 at 7:00 pm in the church to kick off the Bicentennial Season of Service.

We will begin by taking a look at what we are being called to do and who we are being called to serve, and then look at what can be accomplished when we collaborate and take action using the talents we have been given.

You will have a chance to commit to a specific act of service in our community from serving the poor, feeding the hungry, or just something as simple as helping supporting the ministries here in our parish.

Faith and Healing

Monday February 11, 2008 at 7:00 pm Denise McKenzie will speak on her experience of healing that was a cause for the Canonization of St. Leonie Aviat, Mother Frances de Sales, The Foundress of the Congregation of Oblate Sisters of Saint Francis de Sales. This talk will take place in church surrounded by a prayer service focused on healing.

On Monday, March 3, 2008 at 6:00 pm join us for a simple supper of soup and bread. We will again be inviting people to make their favorite soup to share with others.
In addition, people who have performed acts of service for our parish or the community will be invited to share those experiences with others if they so desire.
