SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY

In order to assist couples in their preparation for Christian marriage, the priest should be notified 6 months before the ceremony. Couples considering marriage should contact the priest at the rectory to make an appointment to meet with him.

Wedding Times are scheduled for Saturdays at 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Visiting priests are welcome. Contact one of the parish priests for other details.

PreCana (Premarital) Program or Engagement Encounter

The church earnestly desires to assist engaged couples in strengthening their relationship. This is usually accomplished by learning about and discussing things which promote a lasting commitment, including communication skills, decision-making on the use of time and money, attitudes about sex and sexuality, and the sacramental meaning of marriage. Our parish provides a multi-session PreCana program. Space is limited; reservations are needed. Call the rectory for details. The Archdiocese provides a regional large-group program and an Engagement Encounter.

PreCana Presenters

Presenters are parishioners that have been married at least two years and have been trained using materials provided by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We are always looking for new couples to join our team of presenters.
