Our Troops follow the traditions of 100 years of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout mission is "Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place."
Girl Scouts is open to any female student in the school. If we get enough interest and leaders, we can form a troop for any grade.
Each troop runs their own program, but as a school we participate in Girl Scout Sunday in March and a have our own Father/Daughter dance in the spring. The girls love it! Some of the past events the girls have run in their troops are Girl Scout Cookie Sales; Alex's Lemonade Stand; visiting Chinatown and the city of Philadelphia; Build a Bear party; collecting teddy bears for sick children during the holidays; Girl Scout sing-a-longs; Girl Scout summer camp and making cards for our veterans.
