SSJ School News This week, Saints Simon and Jude School students participated in enriching educational experiences. On Monday, the school was thrilled to welcome Mr. Paul Sanfrancesco, a sought-after nationally renowned speaker. He spoke to our 3rd through 8th graders about "Navigating the Digital Age: The Impact of Social Media and AI on Student Well-Being." Each presentation was customized to suit the students’ age groups. On Monday evening, Mr. Sanfrancesco shared his insights with parents and interested adults in The Meehan Center. On Wednesday, our teachers presented age-appropriate Safe Environment catechesis to students from PreK 3 through Grade 8, focusing on vital safety lessons. These sessions provided valuable education and life lessons outside the typical school day, equipping our students and families with the knowledge and skills to navigate real-world challenges. The week ended as we gathered with our parishioners for our monthly school Mass. Thank you, grade 8 students, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. O’Toole for preparing the Liturgy.
Blessings, Sister Regina Elinich, IHM 1st grade students entertained their parents and 8th grade buddies with a play and song as they dressed as their Patron Saints. Our 8th graders also surprised their buddies with homemade Patron Saint booklets.
